Zapier Integration

What is Zapier?

Through to Zapier:

Zapier is a tool for primarily non-technical users to connect together web apps.

An integration between two apps is called a Zap. A Zap is made up of a Trigger and one or more Actions or Searches.

Whenever the trigger happens in one app, Zapier will automatically perform the actions or searches in another app in order.

Creating A Zap with Formcarry

Before we start, here’s what you’ll need:

Save this code now, we will mention it later:

<form action="https://formcarry.com/s/{Change With Your Form Id}" method="POST">
	<input type="email" name="email" id="email">
	<input type="submit" value=“Subscribe”>
</form>

Connecting Formcarry Account with Zapier

First, Click Here to access our Zapier app, you will see something like this:

Now you have access all of your forms in Formcarry with Zapier.

Let's make an example Zap that everytime form receives a submission save it to Google Sheets.

Select your form:

If test was successful, we’re ready to continue.

Important Note: Your form must have at least 1 submission to build a Zap, other way you will get an error

Binding with Other App

Let’s bind our form with Google Sheets.
Now remember the form we have generated before, we have an email field right?

<form action="https://formcarry.com/s/{Change With Your Form Id}" method="POST">
	<input type="email" name="email" id="email">
	<input type="submit" value=“Subscribe”>
</form>

Create A Sheet in Google Sheets, give a title like e-mail for a row then follow these steps:

What you write in name attribute of your input we will send to Zapier, fields email actually points your input with email name.

Let's move on, we have configured our Zap Template so let's save it and make it live.

When we activate our Zap, it will go and grab our latest form submission, that's why you need to fill every field of your form at least one time.

Congrulations! You have made your first Zap 💅, now Zapier will run this Zap everytime your form receives a new submission.

Let's try it, with our code but we have add some style to it:

It works like a charm 🎉
